Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct site visits and measurements to assess material quantities and labor requirements.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure competitive pricing.
- Review and interpret construction contracts, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve cost-related disputes and variations.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, progress, and financial reports.
- Provide cost-saving recommendations without compromising quality or safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or construction project management.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., WinQS, Candy, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations in Indonesia.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial and technical reporting.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
