As part of our dedicated foreshore operations team, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and project execution for coastal facilities, ensuring structural integrity, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency. Your expertise will directly impact the resilience of Bali’s shoreline assets, supporting both commercial and ecological objectives.
With a competitive salary range of $4,200 – $4,800 per month, this full-time role combines technical challenge with the chance to live and work in one of the world’s most sought-after destinations.
Responsibility
- Oversee daily maintenance and inspection of foreshore facilities, including seawalls, piers, and coastal protection structures.
- Develop and implement project plans for foreshore infrastructure upgrades, repairs, and new constructions.
- Conduct risk assessments and environmental impact evaluations for coastal projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including environmental specialists, contractors, and local authorities.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., IMO, ISO).
- Monitor budget allocations and optimize resource use for cost-effective project delivery.
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and progress updates for stakeholders.
- Leverage IFS (Industrial and Financial Systems) software for asset management and project tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, or Marine Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in foreshore, coastal, or marine infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in IFS Applications or similar asset management systems.
- Strong knowledge of coastal erosion control, hydraulic modeling, and structural design.
- Familiarity with international standards (e.g., PIANC, EURONORM) for maritime construction.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and adapt to a multicultural work environment.
