Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning tools.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes, delays, or accelerations.
- Prepare and present progress reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in project schedules and propose mitigation strategies.
- Conduct critical path analysis to optimize project timelines and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and support to team members on scheduling tools and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar planning software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for reporting to stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with construction methodologies, contracts, and industry standards.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) is a plus.
