Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability to meet company procurement needs.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure the best value for the company.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials and avoid shortages.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, finance) to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and resolve any supply chain issues promptly.
- Track and report on procurement metrics, including spend analysis, lead times, and supplier performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies, contract management, and supplier evaluation techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is a plus.
