Responsibility
- Lead and optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and quality.
- Develop and implement process improvements, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to drive innovation and problem-solving.
- Conduct data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure team success.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain Renesas' competitive edge.
- Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor process engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, MATLAB, Python) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to mentor teams and present technical findings.
- Experience with process optimization, yield enhancement, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, SEMI) and regulatory compliance.
