Responsibility
- Develop detailed piping designs and layouts using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure piping systems meet project requirements and specifications.
- Create and maintain accurate piping drawings, schematics, and documentation for construction and installation.
- Perform piping stress analysis and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and other technical documents to inform design decisions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers and draftsmen.
- Participate in design reviews and project meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in piping design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in piping design, preferably in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proficiency in piping design software such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, API).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to interpret and analyze engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
