Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive on-site inspections to ensure compliance with architectural plans, engineering specifications, and local building codes.
- Develop and implement quality control protocols, checklists, and reporting systems to monitor construction progress and material standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to address quality issues and propose corrective actions.
- Perform structural, electrical, and plumbing system evaluations to verify adherence to safety and performance standards.
- Document and report non-conformities, deviations, and defects, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures.
- Oversee material testing (e.g., concrete, steel, soil) and validate supplier certifications to guarantee compliance with project requirements.
- Train and mentor site personnel on quality control best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed quality assurance reports for stakeholders, highlighting risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PMP, CQE) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control for residential or commercial construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian building codes, ISO standards, and international construction best practices.
- Proficient in using quality control tools, AutoCAD, BIM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
