Responsibility
- Manage daily pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, medication dispensing, and order fulfillment with precision and accuracy.
- Ensure full compliance with PhilHealth GAMOT regulations and other local healthcare standards.
- Conduct thorough inventory management, including stock monitoring, ordering, and expiration date tracking to prevent shortages or wastage.
- Provide professional patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions to promote safe and effective treatment.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to verify prescriptions, resolve discrepancies, and optimize patient care plans.
- Maintain meticulous records of all pharmaceutical transactions, including patient data, inventory logs, and compliance documentation.
- Implement and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) for pharmacy workflows, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical advancements, regulations, and best practices through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution; licensed pharmacist in the Philippines (or equivalent local certification).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Staff Pharmacist or in a similar role within a retail, hospital, or clinical setting.
- In-depth knowledge of PhilHealth GAMOT compliance, pharmaceutical regulations, and ethical dispensing practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Proficient in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office tools; experience with inventory systems is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and continuous improvement in pharmaceutical care.
- Fluency in English; additional local language skills are advantageous.
