Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including stocking, labeling, and organizing medications.
- Process customer orders, handle payments, and provide receipts with a high level of professionalism.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace in accordance with health regulations.
- Offer exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, providing product recommendations, and resolving concerns.
- Support the pharmacist in verifying prescription details and ensuring patient information is up-to-date.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
- Promote health and wellness by educating customers on proper medication usage and storage.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in pharmacy assistance is a plus.
- Proven experience in a pharmacy, retail, or healthcare setting (entry-level candidates with strong interest are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medications, and dosage forms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
