Responsibility
- Lead or assist in the planning, design, and implementation of healthcare facility development projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
- Oversee procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and budget management to ensure cost-effective and timely project delivery.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project delays, safety hazards, or compliance issues.
- Implement quality control measures and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and patient-centric facility design.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution from inception to completion.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, providing regular progress reports to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare facility guidelines, including infection control, accessibility, and sustainability standards.
- Support the development of safety protocols and emergency preparedness plans for new or renovated facilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in healthcare or medical facility development (for Senior role). Assistant PMs should have 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar projects from planning to completion, preferably in a healthcare or institutional setting.
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards (OSHA, local codes), and quality assurance frameworks.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to liaise with diverse teams and vendors.
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify risks, and propose data-driven solutions for process optimization.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or Agile methodologies is advantageous.
