Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day logistics operations, including import/export documentation, customs clearance, and shipment tracking.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Monitor compliance with local and international trade regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements.
- Resolve logistics-related issues, such as delays, discrepancies, or customs holds, with proactive solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventories, and logistics expenses using ERP or WMS systems.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehousing, and sales teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
- Conduct regular audits of logistics processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Provide reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, transit times, and cost savings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, customs clearance, or freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations, Incoterms, and international trade compliance.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to address logistics challenges efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Certification in logistics (e.g., CILT, CSCP) or customs brokerage is a plus.
