Responsibility
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered palliative care to individuals with life-limiting illnesses, focusing on pain and symptom management.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, social workers, and therapists.
- Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal comfort and quality of life.
- Offer emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families during challenging times.
- Conduct home visits to deliver care in patients’ residences, ensuring a comfortable and familiar environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Educate patients and families on palliative care options, symptom management, and end-of-life planning.
- Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in palliative and gerontological care.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license in Indonesia or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in palliative care, gerontology, or home care settings.
- Strong clinical skills in pain management, symptom control, and end-of-life care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Compassionate, patient, and resilient with a deep commitment to ethical and dignified care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in diverse settings (hospitals, clinics, home care).
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is a plus.
