Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a multidisciplinary ward, adhering to hospital policies and clinical standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress using electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
- Assist in emergency situations by responding promptly and effectively to patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized ward environment in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training programs to stay updated with best nursing practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing license and registration with the relevant nursing board (e.g., Malaysian Nursing Board or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or multidisciplinary ward setting.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, medical terminology, and patient care techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
