Responsibility
- Provide direct patient care, including vital signs monitoring, wound dressing, and administering medications as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during consultations and minor procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on health management, medication adherence, and preventive care measures.
- Manage clinic inventory, including medical supplies and pharmaceuticals, and place orders as needed.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and ensure efficient patient flow within the clinic.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide clear, empathetic communication regarding their care.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing or a related medical field.
- Valid nursing license or certification as a Medical Assistant.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic medical software.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is an advantage.
