Responsibility
- Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Provide chairside assistance, including handing instruments and materials to the dentist.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Dental Assisting or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilization.
