Responsibility

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the HDU/ICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing life-support equipment.
  • Assist the surgical team during procedures by ensuring a sterile environment, preparing instruments, and anticipating the needs of the team.
  • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Operate and maintain advanced medical equipment, such as ventilators, defibrillators, and infusion pumps, ensuring optimal functionality and patient safety.
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly in electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions to promote continuity of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical interventions, including CPR and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Valid nursing license and registration with the Indonesian Nursing Council (PPNI) or equivalent international certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HDU, ICU, or critical care nursing (experience in surgical or perioperative care is a plus).
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Proficiency in operating critical care equipment, such as ventilators, monitors, and infusion pumps.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical nursing practices.
