Responsibility
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the HDU/ICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing life-support equipment.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by ensuring a sterile environment, preparing instruments, and anticipating the needs of the team.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Operate and maintain advanced medical equipment, such as ventilators, defibrillators, and infusion pumps, ensuring optimal functionality and patient safety.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions to promote continuity of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical interventions, including CPR and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Valid nursing license and registration with the Indonesian Nursing Council (PPNI) or equivalent international certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HDU, ICU, or critical care nursing (experience in surgical or perioperative care is a plus).
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Proficiency in operating critical care equipment, such as ventilators, monitors, and infusion pumps.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
