Responsibility
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing gynecological oncology treatments, including chemotherapy, radiation, and surgical interventions.
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, symptoms, and treatment responses, documenting all observations accurately in electronic health records.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments as prescribed, ensuring strict adherence to protocols and safety standards.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment plans, and post-care instructions with clarity and compassion.
- Collaborate with oncologists, surgeons, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist in diagnostic procedures (e.g., biopsies, scans) and provide pre- and post-procedural care.
- Maintain a sterile and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control and hygiene protocols.
- Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and families, addressing concerns with sensitivity and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with valid certification in Indonesia (or eligibility for local registration).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in oncology, gynecology, or surgical nursing; experience in a specialized oncology clinic is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cancer treatments, side effects, and symptom management in gynecological oncology.
- Proficient in IV therapy, wound care, and pain management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and compassion.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation best practices.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
