Responsibility
- Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility for medical services.
- Process prior authorization requests for medications, procedures, and treatments.
- Liaise with healthcare providers, insurers, and patients to gather necessary documentation.
- Document and maintain accurate records of authorization requests and outcomes.
- Provide clear and empathetic communication to patients regarding coverage and approvals.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in authorization requirements.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve authorization processes.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Philippines.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in prior authorization, case management, or a related healthcare role.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance policies, and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in using healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
