Responsibility
- Assist gastroenterologists and surgeons during endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, gastroscopies, and ERCP.
- Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment, ensuring sterility and proper functionality before and after each procedure.
- Monitor patientsā vital signs and provide pre- and post-procedural care, including sedation management and recovery support.
- Educate patients and families on procedure details, risks, and post-procedure care instructions.
- Document all patient interactions, procedure details, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and safe endoscopy suite.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
- Stay updated on the latest endoscopy techniques, technologies, and best practices through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorās degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid nursing license (STR) and registration with the Indonesian Nursing Council (PPNI).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in endoscopy, surgery, or critical care nursing.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of endoscopic procedures, equipment, and patient safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to interact with international patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
