Responsibility
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including extractions, fillings, and cleanings, by preparing instruments and materials.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Educate patients on post-procedure care, oral hygiene practices, and answer any questions they may have.
- Manage patient records, update treatment plans, and ensure accurate documentation in compliance with clinic policies.
- Prepare treatment rooms by setting up necessary tools, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for use.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and coordinating with the front desk.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of dental supplies, placing orders as needed to avoid shortages.
- Provide chairside support to dentists, anticipating their needs and ensuring procedures run smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic or healthcare setting.
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and dental staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
- Familiarity with dental software for patient records and scheduling is a plus.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards in healthcare.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
