Responsibility
- Administer dialysis treatments to patients with renal conditions, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patients during dialysis sessions, assessing vital signs and responding to any adverse reactions or complications.
- Educate patients and their families on renal health, dialysis procedures, and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nephrologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment details, progress, and any changes in condition.
- Operate and maintain dialysis equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to infection control protocols.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families, addressing concerns and fostering a positive care experience.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay updated on advancements in dialysis and renal care.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with experience in dialysis or renal care.
- Proven experience in administering dialysis treatments and managing patients with chronic kidney disease.
- Strong clinical skills, including the ability to monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and respond to emergencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and support patients and their families.
