Responsibility

  • Coordinate and execute import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with Indonesian and international trade regulations.
  • Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to facilitate smooth clearance of shipments.
  • Monitor and track shipments, resolving any delays or discrepancies in collaboration with logistics partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
  • Assist in negotiating freight rates and optimizing shipping routes to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
  • Prepare and submit reports on import/export activities, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on changes in trade laws, tariffs, and sanctions to ensure company compliance.
  • Support internal teams with trade-related queries and provide training on exim procedures as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in export-import operations, customs clearance, or international trade compliance.
  • Strong understanding of Incoterms, HS codes, and Indonesian customs regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP or trade management software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to negotiate and correspond professionally.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Bali’s logistics hubs and regional trade dynamics is advantageous.
