Responsibility

  • Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials and finished bakery products to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Monitor production processes in real-time to identify and address potential quality issues.
  • Perform daily quality control checks, including sensory evaluations, weight measurements, and packaging integrity assessments.
  • Document and report quality control findings, deviations, and corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with production teams to implement process improvements and maintain consistency in product quality.
  • Ensure adherence to local and international food safety regulations, including HACCP and GMP standards.
  • Participate in shift rotations, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends, as required by production schedules.
  • Assist in training new staff on quality control procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in Food Technology, Quality Assurance, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in quality control, preferably within the food manufacturing or bakery industry.
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards, such as HACCP, ISO 22000, or local regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to detect quality deviations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate findings clearly to production and management teams.
  • Willingness to work in shift-based environments, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 10 kg).
