Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols and procedures to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Organize and maintain inventory by accurately labeling, stacking, and storing materials in designated areas.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize workflow and meet daily productivity targets.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments by packing, wrapping, and loading goods onto trucks or pallets.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
- Keep accurate records of inventory movements and transactions using warehouse management systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or logistics environment (minimum 1-2 years).
- Valid forklift operator certification (a must).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg) as required.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
