Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel premises to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all engineering operations.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping and front office teams to address guest requests and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Assist in the implementation of energy-saving and sustainability initiatives to support the hotel's green policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of engineering supplies.
- Provide emergency engineering support during off-hours as part of the on-call rotation.
- Train and mentor junior engineering staff to uphold the hotel's service and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong technical skills in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental standards, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
