You will work alongside cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement predictive maintenance strategies, and ensure strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations. Responsibility
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of mission-critical facility systems, including chilled water, process cooling water, exhaust, and compressed dry air systems.
- Manage the performance of ISO 5 cleanroom environmental controls to ensure optimal manufacturing conditions.
- Lead root-cause analysis and troubleshooting for facility-related system failures to minimize production downtime.
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for complex utility infrastructure.
- Supervise vendors and contractors, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and internal specifications.
- Drive energy efficiency projects and sustainable facility improvement initiatives to reduce operational costs.
- Coordinate with production engineering teams to integrate new tools and utility expansion projects seamlessly.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation for facility audits and compliance reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facility Engineering (or related discipline).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in facility engineering within a high-tech or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Deep technical expertise in industrial utility systems: Chilled Water, Process Cooling Water (PCW), Vacuum systems, and Exhaust systems.
- Solid understanding of cleanroom classifications and air filtration technologies.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, including facility expansion and system upgrades.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in BMS (Building Management Systems) and facility automation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Professional certification in facility management or professional engineering (PE/Ir) is a significant advantage.
