Responsibility
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile discrepancies at the end of each shift.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Operate POS systems and handle refunds, exchanges, and voids in compliance with company policies.
- Monitor and report any suspicious transactions or discrepancies to management.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and product organization.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in retail or finance is a plus.
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a customer service role, preferably in retail.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
