Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations by preparing and filing timely tax returns (e.g., VAT, corporate income tax).
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and provide insights for budgeting and forecasting.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and accounting standards, updating company policies and procedures as needed.
- Assist in audits by preparing documentation and liaising with external auditors.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate deductions for taxes and benefits.
- Support the finance manager in analyzing financial performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or tax roles, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Certification in accounting (e.g., Brevet A/B, CPA) is a plus.
