Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local GAAP and tax regulations.
- Manage tax filings, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other statutory requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency in accounting operations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing financial data and analysis.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth financial operations.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards to ensure company compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or Brevet A/B) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, or a related role, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and accounting principles (PSAK).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
