Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on sputter deposition systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment failures, minimizing downtime and maintaining production schedules.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures, checklists, and documentation to improve system efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot process issues and enhance equipment capabilities.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for timely procurement of critical components.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on semiconductor or thin-film processes.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting sputter deposition systems or similar vacuum-based equipment.
- Strong knowledge of PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) processes, plasma physics, and thin-film technology.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, PLC logic, and technical manuals.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and data-driven maintenance strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ISO, OSHA, and SEMATECH standards for semiconductor manufacturing.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to document procedures and train team members effectively.
