Committed to delivering premium chicken products and enhancing quality of life, we are seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Civil) to lead critical infrastructure and facility development projects in our growing market.
In this role, you will oversee the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, sustainability, and operational efficiency. Responsibility
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, including site development, structural foundations, and utility systems for poultry facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, contractors, and regulatory bodies) to ensure project alignment with technical, safety, and environmental standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimations, and risk assessments for proposed projects, presenting findings to senior management.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks while mitigating potential delays or issues.
- Develop and implement sustainable engineering solutions to minimize environmental impact and optimize resource utilization.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor project progress, providing regular reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and GAMA Foodsâ internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or project leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure or industrial facility projects from conception to completion.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and other engineering software tools.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and construction methodologies.
- Familiarity with Indonesian building codes and regulations (preferred) or adaptability to local standards.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent certification is highly advantageous.
