Responsibility
- Develop, monitor, and update project cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with project goals.
- Analyze cost trends, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to project managers to mitigate financial risks.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
- Prepare detailed cost reports, including monthly financial summaries, cash flow projections, and variance analyses for senior management review.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify progress, assess cost implications, and ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Implement cost-control measures and recommend process improvements to enhance project profitability and efficiency.
- Work closely with engineering and construction teams to validate cost estimates and ensure alignment with design and execution plans.
- Support the preparation of financial close-out reports and post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost engineering, quantity surveying, or construction cost control, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or building projects.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or Primavera) and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and labor costs in the Indonesian market.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in cost engineering (e.g., CCE, AACEI) or project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are an advantage.
