Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and safety audits across all operational areas.
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and training programs in compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and local regulations.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and HR teams to integrate safety best practices into daily operations.
- Ensure all machinery, equipment, and facilities meet safety standards and are regularly inspected.
- Lead emergency response planning, including fire safety, evacuation procedures, and crisis management.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Stay updated on industry safety trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in safety engineering, preferably in the automotive, manufacturing, or heavy industry sectors.
- Certification in OSHA, NEBOSH, or ISO 45001 is highly advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian safety regulations and international standards (e.g., ANSI, NFPA).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to train and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
