Responsibility
- Develop, evaluate, and optimize chemical and water treatment processes to enhance efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Design and implement AWS (Advanced Water Solutions) frameworks, including filtration, desalination, and wastewater recycling systems.
- Automate process controls using Visual Basic (VB) scripting to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for process deviations and propose data-driven solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, operations, QA) to integrate new technologies and improve system scalability.
- Prepare technical reports, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and P&ID drawings for stakeholder review.
- Ensure adherence to ISO, OSHA, and local environmental regulations in all process designs and modifications.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and operational staff on best practices in treatment system management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on water/chemical treatment or industrial automation.
- Proven expertise in AWS (Advanced Water Solutions) or similar water treatment technologies.
- Proficiency in Visual Basic (VB) for process automation, SCADA systems, or PLC programming is a must.
- Strong knowledge of process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, COMSOL) and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (EPA, WHO, Indonesian environmental laws) for water and chemical handling.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
