Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize mechanical applications and systems to meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, and customer support, to ensure seamless product integration and customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions for mechanical applications.
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and testing to validate mechanical designs and ensure performance, reliability, and safety.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, including reports, manuals, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering to drive innovation.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical challenges, project execution, and professional development.
- Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and timeline management to ensure timely delivery of engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Experience: For Senior roles, 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, application engineering, or a related field. For Junior roles, 1-3 years of relevant experience or internships.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB), and mechanical design principles.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional team environment with a global mindset.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Remote Work: Experience with remote work tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Trello) and self-motivation to work independently.
