Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive maintenance programs for industrial machinery, utility systems, and mechanical equipment.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Optimize predictive and preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to align maintenance activities with business objectives.
- Design and modify mechanical systems to improve efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships for specialized maintenance, repairs, and equipment upgrades.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., MTBF, MTTR) and prepare reports on maintenance performance and cost analysis.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality control standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or utility sectors.
- Proven expertise in maintenance planning, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), and reliability engineering.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC systems, and rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, motors).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software for system modifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ISO, OSHA, and local regulatory standards for mechanical safety.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to mentor junior engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
