Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with sports injuries, neurological disorders, or spinal cord injuries to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Design and implement evidence-based rehabilitation programs, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and electrotherapy.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, and sports medicine specialists to ensure integrated patient care.
- Utilize advanced physiotherapy equipment and techniques, such as dry needling, myofascial release, and neuromuscular re-education.
- Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in sports physiotherapy and neurological rehabilitation.
- Provide pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation for athletes and active individuals to facilitate safe return to sport.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license and registration to practice in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in sports physiotherapy, neurological rehabilitation, or spinal cord injury management.
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary systems with hands-on therapeutic skills.
- Experience with manual therapy techniques, such as joint mobilizations, soft tissue manipulation, and therapeutic exercises.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.
- Certification in sports physiotherapy, dry needling, or neurological rehabilitation is a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
