Responsibility
- Develop and implement a diverse portfolio of sports, fitness, and recreational activities tailored to guest demographics and preferences.
- Lead and mentor a team of entertainment staff, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Hospitality and Events teams to integrate entertainment programs with onboard dining, social events, and shore excursions.
- Oversee the logistics and equipment for sports facilities, including gyms, pools, and outdoor activity spaces.
- Monitor guest feedback and adjust programs to enhance engagement and repeat participation.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations for all recreational activities.
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and inventory for entertainment supplies and equipment.
- Host and emcee special events, tournaments, and themed activities to foster a lively onboard community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Sports Science, Event Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in sports/entertainment management, preferably in luxury hospitality, resorts, or cruise lines.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in a high-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a knack for creative problem-solving.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR and knowledge of safety standards for recreational activities.
- Passion for travel, cultural exchange, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the cruise schedule.
