Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and specialty drinks, adhering to company standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming and memorable experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and service areas.
- Educate customers on coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to enhance their appreciation.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies, and communicate restocking needs.
- Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal drink specials and promotional offerings.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately and efficiently.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a high-volume café or specialty coffee shop (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment (e.g., espresso machines, grinders), and milk steaming.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle inquiries professionally.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills for accurate transactions.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Passion for coffee culture and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
