Responsibility
- Supervise and lead a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient and high-quality cleaning services.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, standards, and procedures to maintain immaculate facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of office spaces, common areas, and guest accommodations to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Coordinate with management to address maintenance needs, supply inventory, and budget allocations for housekeeping operations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and report on cleaning performance metrics, identifying areas for enhancement.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in all housekeeping activities.
- Handle guest or employee concerns related to cleanliness and facility upkeep promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in housekeeping supervision, preferably in hospitality, corporate, or facility management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices for maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, including OSHA or local equivalents.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, as needed.
- Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management, Facility Management, or a related field is advantageous.
