Responsibility
- Monitor and manage satellite spectrum usage to ensure compliance with international regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with global regulatory bodies and satellite operators to resolve spectrum interference issues.
- Develop and implement strategies for optimal spectrum allocation and orbital slot management.
- Conduct technical analyses and simulations to assess spectrum efficiency and potential risks.
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings and reports to relevant authorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate spectrum management practices into satellite operations.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and regulatory changes affecting satellite spectrum management.
- Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams on spectrum-related matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in satellite communications, spectrum management, or regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of international spectrum regulations and ITU (International Telecommunication Union) standards.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies such as the ITU, FCC, or equivalent organizations.
- Proficiency in spectrum analysis tools and software (e.g., STK, MATLAB, or similar).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with international stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex technical and regulatory challenges.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
