Responsibility
- Develop precise shop drawings, as-built drawings, and working drawings based on designer specifications and technical data.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
- Review and interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to create detailed technical documentation.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, manufacturing guidelines, and quality control requirements.
- Modify and update drawings as per feedback from production or design teams.
- Maintain organized digital files and version control for all technical drawings.
- Assist in prototyping and testing phases by providing technical input on design adjustments.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD software, drafting techniques, and furniture manufacturing trends.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in furniture drafting, product development, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or other CAD software.
- Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and joinery techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex design specifications.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawing conventions.
- Strong communication skills in English and Indonesian to liaise with international and local teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
