Responsibility
- Develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings for automotive lighting components using CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA).
- Operate and maintain 3D printers and scanners to create prototypes and verify design accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to refine product designs and ensure manufacturability.
- Generate and update technical documentation, including assembly instructions and bill of materials (BOM).
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to improve product functionality and aesthetics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design issues to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in 3D printing and CAD technologies.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a 3D Drafter or similar role, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or CATIA.
- Hands-on experience with 3D printers and scanners.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet project deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
