Responsibility
- Design, optimize, and oversee wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and performance evaluations of treatment plant equipment and systems.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in wastewater treatment.
- Prepare detailed reports on plant performance, including data analysis and recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards in all operational activities.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on best practices in wastewater treatment.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in water treatment and environmental engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations or process engineering.
- Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, including biological, chemical, and physical treatment methods.
- Proficiency in using process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and team collaboration.
- Certification in environmental management or wastewater treatment is a plus.
