In this role, you will play a pivotal part in digitizing schematic designs, managing complex cable harnesses, and ensuring the accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOM) within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Responsibility
- Digitize and validate schematic designs using industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, or 3DEXPERIENCE).
- Develop and manage complex cable harness designs, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
- Maintain and optimize the Bill of Materials (BOM) for accuracy, completeness, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, and production) to integrate electronics into broader system designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design discrepancies or manufacturing issues related to electronics components.
- Document technical processes, design changes, and engineering best practices.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation of electronic assemblies.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in electronics engineering and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in schematic design, PCB layout, or cable harness design.
- Proficiency in 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA, or similar CAD/CAE tools for electronics design.
- Strong understanding of BOM management and component selection for manufacturability.
- Experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Testability) principles.
- Familiarity with IPC standards and industry regulations for electronics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong communication skills.
