Responsibility
- Design and develop mechanical systems, control architectures, or embedded software for semiconductor automation equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance) to deliver high-precision, reliable solutions.
- Create and review technical drawings, schematics, and BOMs using CAD/CAE tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Altium).
- Program, test, and debug PLCs, HMIs, or motion control systems for industrial automation.
- Develop and optimize real-time control algorithms for robotic or process automation applications.
- Conduct FMEA, risk assessments, and design validation to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, SEMATECH).
- Provide technical support for system integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting at client sites.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in automation, IoT, and Industry 4.0 to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, control systems, or embedded software development for industrial automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor), PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), or embedded C/C++/Python.
- Experience with servo motors, pneumatics, sensors, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Strong knowledge of automation standards (e.g., IEC 61131, ISO 13849) and semiconductor industry requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary, global team.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, French) are a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements or training.
