Responsibility
- Develop and refine detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design specifications and convert them into accurate technical drawings.
- Review and validate drawings for compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
- Maintain organized digital files and version control for all project documentation.
- Provide technical support during the construction or manufacturing phase by clarifying drawing details and resolving discrepancies.
- Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, material efficiency, and manufacturability.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance productivity.
- Assist in preparing bill of materials (BOM) and other project-related documentation.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a CAD Drafter, preferably in engineering or construction sectors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar CAD software (certification is a plus).
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and industry-specific codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce error-free, high-precision drawings.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is an advantage.
