Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee, matcha, and other beverages with precision and creativity, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and enhancing their experience with personalized service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders, to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the team to manage inventory, restock supplies, and contribute to a seamless workflow during peak hours.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to refine your skills in coffee brewing, latte art, and customer service.
- Assist in creating and testing new beverage recipes to keep our menu fresh and exciting for customers.
- Uphold the brandâs values by delivering exceptional hospitality and representing the company with pride.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality or coffee industry (prior experience with matcha is a plus).
- Passion for coffee, matcha, and specialty beverages, with a strong understanding of brewing techniques and flavor profiles.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of coffee equipment maintenance and troubleshooting (training will be provided for specific tools).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required by the business.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Fluency in English is highly preferred; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, or other international languages) are a bonus.
