Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end general accounting functions, including GL reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal financial policies across APAC jurisdictions.
- Perform financial reporting and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and shared service centers to optimize financial workflows and process efficiencies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders during financial audits and review cycles.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support the integrity of financial data within ERP systems.
- Assist in the preparation of regional financial summaries and APAC performance reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a shared services or multinational corporate finance environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and local statutory accounting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with enterprise-level ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Workday).
- Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous eye for detail and data integrity.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, global team environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure setting.
