Responsibility
- Manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Provide strategic financial insights and advisory services to clients to support their business decisions and growth.
- Ensure full compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST regulations, and corporate tax requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and review the work of junior accounting professionals to ensure accuracy, quality, and professional development.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, building strong, long-lasting advisory relationships.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and statutory bodies like IRAS and ACRA on behalf of clients.
- Identify opportunities to streamline internal accounting workflows and implement modern cloud-based accounting solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualifications like CA Singapore, CPA, or ACCA are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or corporate service firms, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong technical knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), corporate tax laws, and GST filing requirements.
- Proficiency in modern cloud accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks, alongside advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage complex client relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with sharp attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client portfolios under tight deadlines.
